We Build One Center At A Time.

AFEEC's mission is to build one center within each country. This will enable women and men to increasingly demonstrate their abilities and skills to create, innovate, and give back to their communities. In addition, AFEEC will help these individuals improve their leadership skills, which in turn will positively impact both Africa and the rest of the world.

The Center is dedicated to advancing the success of certified women and men's business enterprises, government agencies, and corporate members through partnerships with its affiliated international business organizations.

Another aspect of AFEEC's overall mission is to create a forum where students, faculty, and staff can learn about entrepreneurship, and deeply and significantly it can impact their lives, because entrepreneurship is much more than just the study of how to start a new business. The successful entrepreneur is:

  • creative
  • to use patience and perseverance
  • a dreamer
  • willing to think outside the box
  • willing and able to work with diverse groups and skill sets
  • able to build teams
  • good at problem solving
  • determined to succeed

These skills are also necessary for success in any career path and should be taught to all students, whatever their majors. However attitude is first very important, because skills can be taught. Entrepreneurship is then a attitude first and also one venue though which these skills can be learned and put into practice.
